Terms of service
Plain-English terms. Wanderbook is in early access; we'll formalise the legal text before wide launch. The promises below hold either way.
Who we are. Wanderbook (wanderbook.in) is operated by [entity name pending registration], India. Writing to support@wanderbook.in reaches the team directly.
What we make. Every Wanderbook is a custom photobook, printed to order from the photos you upload and the design you approve on screen. There is no stock and no shelf; your book exists because you ordered it.
Your photos. Your photos stay yours. By uploading them you confirm you took them or have permission to use them, and you give us the limited right to use them for one purpose only: designing and printing your book. Our Privacy page covers how they're stored and deleted.
Your design. You see every page before you order, and the book is printed exactly as previewed. Please give it a proper look before you pay; the preview is the proof.
Prices and payment. Prices are in Indian rupees. Payment is prepaid, by UPI or card, and any GST due is shown at checkout. We don't offer cash on delivery yet.
Cancellations and refunds. You can cancel for a full refund any time before printing starts. Once printing starts we can't cancel a custom book, but defects are always on us. The full policy is on our Refunds & cancellations page.
Delivery. We deliver across India. See Shipping for how dispatch and tracking work.
What's ours. The Wanderbook name, the site, and our cover illustrations belong to us. Your book is yours to keep, gift, and show off; please don't resell our cover art on its own.
If something goes wrong. If we get your book wrong, we make it right: a free reprint or a full refund of what you paid for that order. That is also the limit of what we owe under these terms.
The boring but important bit. These terms are governed by Indian law. We may update them as the product grows; the date below tells you when we last did.
